Basic Thin-Training

We view every person’s eating as a puzzle.  Often many of the healthy pieces are in place but we need to tweak or switch around others in order to solve that puzzle.

  • Do you have insane work hours that leave you grabbing whatever is easy?
  • Are your eating habits Jekyll and Hyde-like on weekdays versus weekends?
  • Or do you feel like you are “doing everything right” but just not seeing results?
  • Are you realizing that over 40, rules change and old tricks don’t work?

Our basic thin-training is a personalized plan based on your food preferences, daily routine and goals. Whether you’ve tried it all diet-wise and find that nothing has provided lasting results, have a big event coming up, or need a fresh start  whatever your inspiration we’ve got you covered. In your initial session we’ll determine which “pieces” are holding you back. Follow ups generally occur every 7-10 days for our new Foodtrainees; accountability is key. After the first month (and ideally 5-10 lbs), we can re-evaluate frequency.

Gluten Free Foodtraining

Whether you’ve been diagnosed with celiac disease, a gluten, soy or dairy intolerance, or you just know something’s not right, we can help. Sorting out what foods work for you can be very tricky, but intolerant or allergic doesn’t have to mean deprived. During your initial session, we will provide you with meal and snack ideas and plenty of tried and true product suggestions. In follow up sessions we will expand your  initial plan, navigate menus and talk recipes so you can have your favorite foods and feel good too.

Pre and Pre-Pre-natal Foodtraining

We’ve found many clients seek us out when they’re “trying”. Whether it’s taking some time or you just want your body in the best place before, during and after a little one takes up residence in there, our Fertility Foodtraining can help.

If you’re TTC, your food choices might be the missing link between you and your mini-me. Once you are pregnant, we can help you maintain optimal health and energy and handle those cravings – nine months without cocktails doesn’t mean endless cookies.

If you’re on the post-baby end and trying to shed any extra weight, we can assist you there too. And trust us, not to worry if your baby is more of an adult than a 9 month old.

Don’t Gain While You Train

From first-time marathoners to elite athletes, we find that a precisely focused training schedule doesn’t always carry over to eating habits. Many race newbies come to us frustrated that they’ve increased exercise but the scale is moving up too. Other athletes know what does not work for them, but can vastly improve their performance with our suggestions. For best results, we suggest booking an appointment two months before your race or event so we can gradually tweak your routine.

Men, we have room for you too.  We’re seeing a huge increase in men interested in nutrition services, and are now introducing “dudetraining”. Whether it’s to lose the belly, increase your energy, improve exercise performance, eat healthier or just go make your wife happy, we’re your nutrition troubleshooters. During our initial consultation, we will come up with a game plan including manly meals and snacks. Follow up sessions can be via phone or skype. We’ll evaluate your progress and present food challenges to ensure progress continues all the way to your goal.
