CAROLYN BROWN MS RD
Carolyn Brown MS RD completed her masters in clinical nutrition at New York University and holds her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in psychology. While traveling in South America and Southeast Asia, she was introduced to new foods and cultures, sparking an interest in cuisine that eventually led her down the nutrition path. Carolyn gained experience in several nutrition specialty areas including weight management, pediatric and adolescent medicine, cardiac heath and oncology while at NewYork-Presbyterian hospital. Carolyn is passionate about community education. She has nutrition experience teaching at New York City Greenmarkets and working at a private school in Manhattan.

Carolyn wasn’t always a total nutrition nerd. She battled with the freshman 15 and a love-hate (or hate-hate) relationship with the elliptical machine herself. Now her go-to activities are yoga, running, snowboarding and spinning. Carolyn's favorite fruit is an in season nectarine, favorite veggie is kale and favorite splurge is a cupcake (specifically "The Elvis") from Butter Lane.
