NAC (n-acetyl-l-cysteine) is an amino acid that boosts production of a key antioxidant, glutathione, in your body. Glutathione helps with detoxification from heavy metals and alcohol. NAC also has interesting applications for immumity/flu prevention, depression and fertility, as well as OCD behaviors. And NAC is not found in food, so it’s only available via supplementation. NAC can actually “pre-tox” our body pre-alcohol, protecting the liver and minimizing alcohol's toxic effects. This increases glutathione production in the body, while reducing the toxicity of acetaldehyde, which is what causes hangover symptoms.* NAC has so many benefits that we've touted it our Everything Pill.

*Please note this hangover prevention does not mean you can drink more. Alcohol is still a toxin, even if it is our favorite toxin. We do not suggest NAC for pregnancy or if you are taking penicillin or medications for blood pressure or blood thinning.

How to use: Take 1-2 capsules daily in the AM. Ideal to start taking before travel, holidays - or when you know you may be drinking alcohol and want to "pre-tox". FYI NAC contains sulfur which may elicit a certain smell, it's normal and does not mean your Everything Pills have gone bad. Best to store in a cool, dry place as heat can increase the smell.

Serving Size: 1 capsule = 600mg  NAC

90 capsules per bottle.

Other ingredients: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate, and magnesium silicate. Hypoallergenic, Non-GMO, Vegetarian, Vegan

*Please check with your physician before starting any new supplement, especially if you are on medication.
