Why do we tend to gain weight as we age, and what can we do about it?

There is a tendency to start gaining weight and specifically visceral fat as we age and the hormones in our bodies begin to shift, and much of that fat gain is also due to muscle loss as we age. There’s a reason why “just eat less” is not going to be enough to address the root cause, but that’s why we’re here to help!

We’re going to cover many of the common refrains we hear from our clients. Much of this advice is useful for people of any age, however, and many of the hormonal changes discussed begin in your 30s.
