So, the “we” this week is an “I”, lucky Carolyn is in Australia. She’s asleep right now (16-hour time difference), no need to bug her. Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.

What I read
I read Conversations with Friends and really enjoyed it. On the surface, it seems like a lighthearted story about some friends in Dublin. But the characters were fantastic and flawed, I found it hard to put the book down.

What I watched
Aside from the National Dog Show? I’m not sure why the dog shows fascinate me, I mean what are they judging them based on? And why do they look at their teeth? I watched the new, Netflix cooking show too. I wasn’t in love. I don’t like when judges aren’t chefs or especially knowledgeable about food. Also, they have chefs from all different countries and then have them make a dish, from a specific country, without too much leeway. Meh…

What I cooked

We’re fine tuning our January Squeeze recipes (few spots still open with C!), I made a cauli turmeric soup.

And onto Monday…

What are you reading? Any favorite soup recipes? Any movies you’d recommend?
