Research from the Institute of Food Technologists and Mondelez International’s 2021 State of Snacking Report shows that 47% of adults eat snacks at least 3 times a day, a number that increased during the pandemic. Their studies showed that 46% of people have increased their snack consumption and a strong majority of people said they eat snacks more often than they eat meals.
